A brilliantly bold Dinked package to celebrate this spirited and vibrant 11-song suite from the London-based jazz / afrobeat fusionists – our first (and very proud) collaboration with Gilles Peterson’s esteemed Brownswood record label. The second album from Kokoroko is a magical listen, exploring themes of togetherness, community, sensuality, childhood, loss and, above all, perseverance.
The eye-catching
artwork (presented here in an alternative sleeve for the exclusive Dinked Edition colourway), was painted by the acclaimed illustrator, Luci Pina, & the imagery and colour was inspired by feelings of innocence and nostalgia - coming of age in London and those rare summer nights where everything felt full of hope.
