Crikey, that week vanished quickly!

We're here on the eve of Record Store Day, busily putting the finishing touches to the shop to ensure it's looking its best before you all come bounding in through our doors tomorrow morning.

Some important information:

• We open at 8am tomorrow, Saturday 12th April, and close after the raffle is all wrapped up.
• When you join the queue, you'll be provided with our new A4 booklet, which contains all of this year's releases. We'll ask you to transfer your selections to this list, as it'll make it much quicker and easier to serve you. 
• Our friends at Jolliffes Coffee Shop will be open from 6am to serve those who have braved the early queue with coffee, bacon sarnies, and access to their toilet facilities.

• We have more members of the team serving than ever before so we're expecting to be even more efficient in working our way through the queue.
• If you're queueing when our fellow traders start to open, then expect to be spending a little bit of time queueing in the street behind us so we can keep the pathways clear. Don't worry, we'll be guiding the queues, keeping everything in order and answering questions.
• This year we'll be putting events on across both Saturday and Sunday. See the images below for details.

• We've been really well looked after by all the labels and suppliers, and we've ordered 95% of the available UK releases, which means you've got a good chance of picking up what you're after with us.

• We'll be running our charity raffle again with some great prizes - just take a look at that list below!

• Keep up to date with everything we sell out of on the day here. If we're stocking it and it's not on this list, then we'll still have it in stock...
• There's usually less of a queue from around 12pm. We're not soothsayers so we can't guarantee we'll be queueless, but if you fancy a lie in and still want a slice of the action (and don't mind risking a sell out or two from your wishlist), then swing by in the afternoon...
• Planning on popping in on Sunday or Monday? We're open 10 - 5.30pm on Sunday with events and refreshments (see above) & 9.30 - 6pm on Monday 
• We're a cashless business. Please bring an alternative means of payment.
• If you can't make it on the day (or fancy another browse...) any remaining stock will be available online from 8pm on Monday 14th April.
• We'll be on socials all day, so send us any questions, queries and, most importantly, snaps of your new treasures on Twitter, BlueSky, Facebook or Instagram!
