This May sees the return of a music festival very close to our hearts... And our doorstep.

Yep, that’s right. In just under 2 weeks time, we will be welcoming The Great Escape’s annual hefty line up invasion of 450+ up & coming artists, headlining acts, showcases, talks, panels, shindigs & hangouts – of the official & unofficial kind – to the enviable array of venues around our city for their 19th year.

We are absolutely buzzing about the line-up & every time we look at the list of artists playing, we spot someone else to add to our jam-packed schedule of “must-sees”. 

Tickets are available now from The Great Escape site (for individual days or the whole 4 days), so check out who will be in town & get yourselves sorted asap.

You can download the app which allows you to favourite the acts you definitely want to see, organise your schedule & get notifications of everything going on across the 4 days of musical mayhem. Do make sure you take a battery pack out & about with you though, as from experience, it’s an excellent app but a bit of a juice sapper! 

And we imagine that you'll want to spend a good chunk of your Thursday evening at the Green Door Store. Particularly because we have our own stage absolutely busting at the seams with bands that'll thrill your socks off. You'll find the likes of Hachiku / Benjamin Steer / TTSSFU / Mudi Sama / Knives / MOULD / CIFIKA all raring to go, so don't miss out!
