Fontaines D.C. Dopamine Chamber

The same kind of step forward from Romance that Romance was from Skinty Fia, Dopamine Chamber pairs the invigorating electronics of Depeche Mode and New Order with darkened, driving post punk recalling the likes of Joy Division, Siouxsie & The Banshees, and The Cure. And they do it all whilst retaining a sound, which is inherently, undeniably Fontaines D.C.
Launching out into exciting, new, stratospheric spaces, it’s gloomy yet ecstatic, dark yet shining with silvery shards of emphatic synths. It’s the supernova leap to stadiums which is no more than they rightly deserve.
