As joyous, propulsive and arresting as ever, ‘Every Inch of Earth Pulsates’ is meticulously composed, delicately layered and pristinely produced (now by Sheffield’s Ross Orton, known for his work with MIA, Arctic Monkeys and Working Men’s Club). There’s undoubtedly a poppier, early-noughties energy burning through this album and the band frequently occupy anthemic indie territory, with rousing choruses, euphoric lashes of synths and vocal deliveries that
are festival headline-worthy. The record’s blistering intensity is exquisitely balanced with deeply considered and more conventional songs that they handle with ease.
It’s pretty clear that this set will absolutely slay on stage. TFFT. As W.H.Lung on stage is an inimitable, beatific experience. ‘and we’ll dance into the sunrise’…
