Also out this week:
The Osees have bolstered their always frenetic and energetic garage punk impulses with the sort of gritty, throbby electronics that you'd expect to hear coming out of the New York No Wave scene circa '78, Elles Bailey's 'Beneath The Neon Glow' is 10 tracks of delight and tumult, skillfully served on a bed of americana-infused blues rock and there are a couple of places left for her instore performance next Wednesday! King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard added a little tonk to their kaleidoscopic honk for album 26, inviting us to join in their wild, rambunctious cavalcade in the process, and, returning after over a decade out, Belong's sizzling train of distorted shoegaze burns brightly like a lonely flame scattering obsidian shadows.
Elsewhere, Aphex Twin has been blowing his own 'Didgeridoo', Ain't are sticking their 'Oar' in, Richard Norris has been gazing into his oracle, there's a fly on Paul Weller's wall, Oh Wonder's That Woman is hunting for joy, Simon Fisher Turner's signal is a little instable (but you can score signed copies!), First Aid Kit are celebrating 10 years of staying gold, and both Outkast and A Tribe Called Quest have wound back the clock with their seminal reissues.
