Obviously, we came to ‘One More Thing’ wanting to love it. Those quirky early singles (none of which are included here), were knockout. The live shows have been steadily building in size, fervour, and reverence and the odds of us being all over this were certainly stacked in their favour. The hard-grafting band just had to pull a blinder of a debut full-length out of the bag. Not much of an ask, eh? Turns out, that was exactly what they had hidden up their denim trouser legs.

The band impressively, and rather boldly, close an album of back to back bangers with a sweet yet sincere and subtle moment in ‘Looking’, which hones their versatility. It allows us to take stock of all that has come before it and fully appreciate the record as a whole - essentially gifting that ‘One More Thing’ we’re craving.
